My Little Coconut Box July 2016

Bonjour mes ami!

Soo... It has been a little while since I done a post for all you lovely people. This month I am pleased to present to all of you the July offering from My Little Box!

Now when I heard what the theme of this box would be... I was pretty excited! The box is perfect pour moi as I am a major fan of anything Coconut! It is one of my favourite scents and it is a bit of a craze right now as everyone is talking Coconuts - whether its an oil, a scent, a candle, a hair conditioner everyone is raving about it and I am definitely joining the party.

Soo without further a do! Let's delve into the box!

The box came in the usual cardboard outer box and included a sticker in the inner lid as always that was very cute and said "Caution Falling Coconuts".

The box itself is beautifully illustrated with Coconut trees and is a very trendy box and something lovely to display during the summer months.

The box came with the usual MLB ribbon tying up all the items and it included the Kanako illustrated card of a girl sitting sipping a coconut cocktail. Now... The quote on this card is a bit random to say the least.. It says. "The two basic items necessary to sustain life are: sunshine and coconut milk." I must note its not so much the quote in itself that is random.. But who said it?!.... Dustin Hoffman. Now what association does Dustin Hoffman have with a girls beauty subscription box and why would he say that.. Its all just a tad random but nonetheless still a cute card!

MLB has kept the usual glossy version of the My Little World magazine titled: "Coconut" and it is to everyone's delight that they are keeping the glossy version which is much more convenient to read and pop it in your bag than the big fold out poster version they used to have.

The magazine contains features like: the many uses of the "magic oil" that is coconut oil, some travelling and holiday features and a Cocktailoscope!

The first of the two lifestyle items I got in the box was a little cardboard envelope tied with a ribbon bow and says: "Oh the places you'll go."

The little envelope contains a beautiful tropical designed passport holder in a sort of synthetic leather material and says "Let's get Lost." It is very trendy and perfect for keeping your passport safe while jet setting away to your tropical getaway! From other boxes I have seen there is another version of this passport holder.

As you can see my passport snuggly fits in and will be well protected whilst also looking tropical and trendy!

The next of the lifestyle items was a little red box that says "Sunshine suits you" and inside was a little dainty gold bracelet with a little green tassle and a little gold chain. I believe these bracelets come in two versions with either a red or green tassle.  I am happy with either or really; as I think both are very cute. I usually like the jewellery items they include in the My Little Boxes and wear them.

I love this little cute bracelet as I mostly wear gold and I love the daintiness of it.

Now for the beauty bag of items.....

And..... This month as the theme would suggest! They are all coconut themed products! I was pretty sure coconut oil would make an appearance here.. but sadly not. However.. I was not disappointed.

The first item I looked at was the product from the My Little Beauty range and this was a "Brume de coco apres-soleil" which is?? tester of your French skills?... A coconut spritzer after sun spray. This spray comes in a 100 ml size which is a generous helping and smells divine! It's a coconut scented body milk that will "lavish your skin with goodness and whisk you to exotic lands". This is not necessarily only an after sun cream; it can also be used as a simple moisturising body milk. This item is priced at £10.

The next item I was super eeeeexcited for as it is by Yves Rocher and I LOVE this brand. It is difficult to come by in the UK so I normally have a look online. This 20 ml eau de toilette is a coconut scent and it just takes me to paradise! I feel like when I wear this I just smell of holidays.. Its like they have captured the scent of holiday in a bottle and I do not want this perfume to run out! Must use wisely! and for perfect results pair with sandals, mojitos, and warm, sunkissed skin. This perfume is £7 per 20 ml.

The last beauty item in the little draw string bag was a mini 30 ml hand cleansing gel in Coco Rico by brand Merci Handy. This hand gel smells coco-nutty and is perfect to pop in your bag or use when travelling as a hand sanitizer is always a good idea to have on the move. A little dollop of this Vitamin E enriched hand gel in your palm and your hands are left cleaner, softer and smelling like a tropical island paradise. Bienvenue au paradis. This item is priced at 3 EUR for 30 ml.

My Little box included a little bonus beauty item this month and is a Rare blend moisture therapy oil by Ojon. We get to try a sample of 2 ml of the oil which is supposed to "soften, hydrate, and restore shine to dry or damaged hair. I will definitely be giving this oil a try as my hair is prone to drying out at the ends from too much heat damage so I will be hoping it restores some moisture to my hair. This is priced at £30 for 45ml.

So that's it from the Coconut box.....

I loved, loved, loved this box so much! Definitely one of my favs from MLB and I guess it all depends on your personal preference towards Coconut as I know there are plenty of people who are not so fond of it. Bonus for me that I love it! Round of applause My Little Box!

Favourite item: Yves Rocher perfume
Least Favourite: Nothing - Loved it ALL

Marks out of 10: a big fat 10! Dix point!

I hope you have all enjoyed this review of My Little box and thank you for reading! Please keep reading for more upcoming boxes and posts!

A Bisous! Stay Tropical!
